Hi! I’m so glad you’re reading my blog, Fangirl’s Handbag.

I started this blog because I found that there isn’t a lot of media attention paid to fangirls/geeks, particularly geeks who are wives and mothers. It seems to me that the attitude is that once you get married and ‘settle down’ (as if anyone chasing a 3 year old armed with a Sharpie (TM) could be considered settled) you put away such ‘childish things’ as video games and comic books and concentrate on your family.

Well I’m here to show people how wrong that perception is.
